Teach a Workshop!

We want workshops in any possible topic. You really don’t need to be an expert, anything is great.

Please, if you are a member of the Bryn Mawr Community, think about teaching a workshop with Art Club.

Here’s how:

1.    Come up with the topic. It could be anything that you like to do for instance topics in drawing, painting, sewing, paper making, book making, puppetry, collage, zine-making, embroidery, charcoals, pastels, poster design, stamp making, linoleum block printing, fabric dying, silkscreen, calligraphy, theater…the possibilities are endless. Art Club is open to anything.
2.    Contact Angela Wang or Anna Lehr Mueser to see the studio, check out materials, and decide on a date and time. They will also discuss with you funding and any other concerns. You will be reimbursed for any materials!
3.    Write up a blurb explaining the workshop, the time, the date, and the location.  This will be used to advertise for you.
4.    TEACH IT!

It should not be a scary prospect. There will be people available to answer any questions and to help you out. If you like to do it or find it relaxing, share it!
